Drillmar Resources are recruiting for a Ballast Control Room Operator to work in an ongoing 28 / 28 rotation onboard a semi-submersible (Las Palmas Shipyard).
This is to support the crew-up ahead of upcoming contract, offshore Spain. The successful applicant will initially be engaged via Drillmar on a temporary contract / assignment, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position with the client.
Candidates MUST have previous operational experience in the role of Control Room Operator working onboard drilling installations to be considered for any vacancies and be in possession of the following essential certification:-
- CoC - Officer of the Navigational Watch (II/1) - STCW
- ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display Info System)
- GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress Safety System)
- Medical Offshore (OEUK)
- Medical Seafarer
- Offshore Survival (HUET EBS CAEBS)
- STCW Advanced Fire Fighting
- STCW Basic Training (Personal Survival Techniques & Fire Prevention/ Fire Fighting)
- STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (Other than Fast Rescue Boats)
- STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats
- STCW Proficiency in Medical Care
