We are currently recruiting a Crane Operator join our client’s 7th generation drillship. This is a permanent rotational position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all lifting on-board the vessel are carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Supervision and coordination of Assistant Crane Operators and Deck team on-board.
- Conduct pre- and post-operational inspections of lifting equipment, ensuring readiness, integrity and correct certification status.
- Ensure accurate completion of logs, maintenance records and permits within the company’s maintenance and reporting systems.
- Monitor lifting activities and equipment condition, identify hazards or potential failures and take corrective / preventive actions as required.
- Actively participate in drills, safety meetings, toolbox talks, and audits to maintain a high level of operational and safety preparedness.
Requirements:
- In order to be considered, candidates must be UK, European or South African nationals. This is due to restrictions on work permits in the area of operation.
- A minimum of 2 years operational experience (within the past 5 years) as a Crane Operator on-board MODUs, preferably drillships.
- Offshore Crane Operator - Stage 3.
- OPITO Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader (OERTL).
- OPITO Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader (HERTL).
