Our client, an industry-leading drilling contractor is looking for a Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) on-board their 6th generation Drillship drilling rig from ASAP until the 28th of August with a second trip commencing 24th September x 4 weeks. 

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of two years offshore experience in this role on-board 5th / 6th generation Drillship drilling rigs.

In addition, the following training and experience is required:

• Suriname Visa
• STCW Certificate of Competency (II/1) - OOW Deck.
• GMDSS General Operator's Certificate / CAA License / Dynamic Positioning Operator Certificate (Unlimited).
• OPITO Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) with CA-EBS.
• STCW Medical Certificate of Fitness for Seafaring Work / ENG1 Medical.
• Seafarer's Book
• STCW Designated Security Duties
• STCW Basic Safety Training
• STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
