Drillmar Resources are currently recruiting for the position of an MPD Panel Operator on-board our client's 6th generation Drillship in the Black Sea, crew change Istanbul.

This is a long term on-going 4/4 rotation with an imminent mobilisation. 

Candidates MUST have previous operational experience working onboard cyber Drillships to be considered for this vacancy and be in possession of the following:-

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or other field related to the oil and gas industry.
• Must have minimum 3 years deepwater MPD experience.
• Field Engineering/Operations Experience in MPD Wells.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

The role will include:-

• Provide onsite engineering support for MPD to the client.
• Rig up, operate, and perform troubleshooting of the MPD equipment with minimal to no supervision from the Wellsite Supervisor.
• Responsible for connecting sensors to the main data acquisition system, collect the data, data interpretation and system troubleshooting.
• Interact with the rig crew and advise driller and client of events or potential problems identified during the operation.
• Responsible for the daily report, records of events and proper database management of all well data, drilling programs, procedures and writing end of well reports.
• Demonstrated and applied knowledge on all hands-on functions of all operations of Managed Pressure Drilling Services including rig up, operating choke manifold, full knowledge and control of the MPD Software, controls, operability, and systems, event identification and downhole theory.
• Participate in workshop activities. This will include but not limited to green tagging, preparing, and/or assisting with shipping equipment to job site.
• Perform engineering simulation and enforce best operational practices on rig site.
