Drillmar Resources are currently recruiting an Offshore Chemist (Nightshift) on behalf of our Client for a rotational assignment in the UK North Sea commencing from February 2026 for a duration ranging from 6-12 months.
Candidates MUST have previous experience in this role to be considered and be in possession of the following essential certification:
- OPITO Survival (BOSIET / FOET) & CA-EBS Training.
- OPITO Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST).
- OGUK Medical Certificate & Bideltoid Measurements.
- Offshore Chemist certification.
Key Responsibilities:-
The Offshore Chemist will carry out a variety of analytical and operational tasks. Monthly duties include, but are not limited to:
- Oil-in-water analysis: Monitoring produced water quality to ensure compliance with environmental discharge regulations and optimise separation processes.
- Sample collection and logistics: Coordinating offshore sample gathering, labeling, packaging, and shipment to onshore labs, following strict handling protocols.
- General analytical chemistry techniques.
