We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting software and a thorough understanding of financial processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective coordination and administration of financial related activities, processes, and procedures within the business.
This is a part time role (20 hours per week) with a flexible working pattern.
Duties
- Maintain and operate financial support systems within the business.
- Handle incoming financial enquiries via both e-mail and telephone.
- Raising and sending of invoices to company clients.
- Administration of incoming invoices from suppliers and contracts.
- Administration of company credit card spend and collation of receipts etc.
- Administration of Purchase Order (PO) Register.
- Liaising with and supporting operational teams, external accountants, payroll bureaus and government bodies as required.
- Preparation and reconciliation of Sage accounts system for presentation to management for monthly accounts.
- Preparation of annual accounts.
- Provide financial analysis support to management.
- Any other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management.
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential.
